ملخص الدراسة:

Study Aims: - To determine the list of economic education concepts that should be included in the high elementary stage Islamic education textbooks in Palestine. - To investigate the extent of the availability of economic education concepts in the high elementary stage Islamic education textbooks in Palestine. - To put forward a framework for enriching the high elementary stage Islamic education textbooks with economic education concepts. Study Sample: The high elementary stage Islamic education textbooks in Palestine in the academic year 2016 - 2017. Study Tools: The list of economic education concepts and the content analysis card Study Methodology: The researcher used the analytical-descriptive approach. Study Findings: The number of economic education concepts in the list of concepts was (107) obtained by the researcher through reviewing the previous studies and educational literature and analyzing the content of the high elementary stage Islamic Education Textbooks. The result of analyzing the set textbooks with their two parts was (86) concepts. There was a clear discrepancy in the distribution of economic education concepts among the textbooks. There was an absence of some concepts in the textbooks, particularly those related to the fields of investment and expenditure. The researcher put forward a framework for enriching high elementary stage Islamic education textbooks in the light of the study findings. Study Recommendations: - Taking into consideration the list of concepts that the researcher devised when developing the school curricula, especially those of Islamic education. - Working on developing the existing curricula and ensuring the equitable distribution of the of economic education concepts in the light of the findings of the study. - Conducting similar research and studies on other school stages and curricula.
