مرايا الأنا والآخر في كتاب “الأيام” لطه حسين” pdf

ملخص الدراسة:

Al Ayyam written by Taha Hussain is one of the main genres of Arabic autobiographies, with 'the self' featuring predominantly in the book criticizing and depicting all that is surrounding it. The study of "the self and "the other" in Al Ayyam, coming across all boundaries of time and place, came to trigger "the self" and the depiction of "the other" across a wide range of issues such as the village, the book, Cairo, Al Azhar, the university and the "European" other. The depiction of "the other" has become the key to understanding "the self." Al Ayyam has represented a self-realization autobiography, a reflection of the deprivation, a triumph over the blindness and a long episode in the struggle against "the other". The book was characterized by the over use of "the self", an indignation of the "Egyptian" other, and the considering of "the European" other as a model for life and thought. In addition, the writer made use of the "pronouns game", where he violated the rules of autobiography writing in revealing the truth. Al Ayyam was seen as a combination of an autobiography based on the truth on one hand and a technical narrative based on imagination, on the other.
