ملخص الدراسة:
Abstract Study Aim: The study aims to identify the impact of using the reciprocal teaching strategy on developing reading comprehension skills for the nin,th grade students in Gaza. Research Methodology: The researcher used the experimental method in this study. Study Samble: A sample of the study consisted of (70) ninth grade female students from Hay Al-Junaina Preparatory School for girls, where the sample was divided into two groups: the experimental group was (35) female students, and the control group was (35) female students. Study Tools: A test to measure reading skills. The researcher adopted T-test to calculate the differences significance between two independent groups. The most important conclusions: There are differences of a statistical significance at the level of ( α ≤ 0.05 ) between the average of the grades of the experimental group students and the average of their peers in the control group students in favour of the experimental group. The most important Recommendations: 1- The need of using the strategy of reciprocal teaching in developing reading skills in Arabic language by teachers, supervisors and students in order to achieve desired, scientific and educational objectives. 2- Encouraging teachers to take part in the production of modules built using the reciprocal teaching strategy. 3- Working on renewing the classroom environment system to achieve the desired educational goals. 4. The need of holding training courses for teachers to be trained on adopting modern strategies, particularly the reciprocal teaching strategy in teaching instead of the traditional methods that are still used nowadays.
