ملخص الدراسة:

The current study aimed at identifying the relationship between war stress and psychosomatic symptoms among displaced Palestinian women at shelters during the war on Gaza (2014), and to specify levels of war stress and psychosomatic symptoms among them. Also to detect the mean scores of war stress and psychosomatic symptoms among women according to variables of both sex and number of children. Study sample consists of (466) of Palestinian women who were displaced to shelters during war in Khanyounis governorate. Study results appeared presence of positive relationship between war stress and psychosomatic symptoms among displaced Palestinian women in shelters. Results also appeared high level of stress war whereas psychosomatic level were less than mean average. Results also indicated no differences in dimensions of psycho-social and health stress, and the total score of the questionnaire among displaced Palestinian women in shelters according to variables of women age and number of children; whereas there are differences that are statistically significant according to variable of women age in the dimensions of economic stress and political stress for women of age group (31-40) and (20-30) prospectively. Results also appeared presence of differences that are statistically significant according to variable of number of children in the dimension of economic stress for women who have (7) children and more, and in the dimension of political stress for women who have less than (3) children.
