ملخص الدراسة:

Aim of the study : To identify the problems facing the students of Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at Al-Aqsa University, visualizing a proposal to overcome them. Study tool: Questionnaire consists of 36 items to identify the problems. The tool has been distributed on two fields categorized as followed: 18 items for Potential sports field, and another 18 items for the study plan field. Study sample: 156 male students and 130 female students from the students of Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at Al-Aqsa University. Methodology: The researcher has used the analytical descriptive approach. The most significant results of the study: 1-There were great problems in the average percentages for the core of potential sports relatively measured as 66, 37. 2-There were great problems in the averages percentages for the core of the study plan relatively measured as 65, 22. 3-There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≥ 0.05) due to the variable sex. 4-The problems related to potential sports and the study plan facing the students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at the University of Al-Aqsa has become clearer for the students of the third and fourth level. Most significant recommendations of the study: 1- Work on establishing indoor and sports halls, stadiums, clothes changing rooms and establishing private medical clinic dedicated for the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at Al-Aqsa University. 2- Reconsider the requirements of academic and professional specialization for all students, and a review for the study plan of theoretical, practical, and field courses which serve in providing better chances to qualify students for a career in teaching and sports coaching.
