ملخص الدراسة:
This study aimed at identifying the motives of Palestinian youth beyond to useing the social communication networks according to the Palestinian universities students perspective . The sample of the study consisted of (311) students of Palestinian universities students in the Gaza Strip who used social communication networks. The researcher adopted the analytical descriptive method. The tool of study was the Questionnaire of motives to determine : (psycho-social motives, academic motives, political motives, economic motives). After statistical treatment of the data results shows:_x000D_
• The Academy motives were the main reason beyond the using of Palestinian universities syudents to social communication networks, with an average (73.8%), to be followed by psycho-social motives (70.2%), to be followed by (68.7%), and the economic motives was in the last ranked (63.9%)._x000D_
• The Facebook was one of the most common social networks among Palestinian universities students with (72.3%)._x000D_
• There are no statistically significant differences in the psycho-social, academic and economic motives of using social networks due to sex variable, except political motives were differences in favor of males._x000D_
• There are no statistically significant differences in the academic , economic and political motives of using social networks due to university variable, except psycho-social motives were differences between students of the Islamic University and Al-Azhar University in favor of Islamic University students._x000D_
• There are no statistically significant differences in the academic , economic and political motives of using social networks due to the type of college, academic level, and GPA, and place of residence .
