ملخص الدراسة:

This research aims at determining the students affairs dean's role in developing the citizenship values of the Islamic University student from their points of view in Gaza Governorates and identifying the differences in the students affairs dean's role in developing the citizenship values due to some variables. _x000D_
The research adopted the analytical descriptive approach, using a questionnaire which includes three domains with (66) items, the research's sample was random consisting of (374) male /female students, in addition to using (SPSS) program for analyzing the research statistics._x000D_
The research revealed the following results._x000D_
1. The students affairs dean's role in developing the citizenship values of the students was of an arithmetic mean (3.498) degree out of (5) degree, and with a heavy weight of (69.960%) which is a high degree. _x000D_
2. There were no significant statistical differences at the level of (α≤0.05) in the estimations mean of the research sample of the students affairs dean's role in developing the citizenship values of the students due to sex (male, female) and the field of specialization (Scientific, literary). _x000D_
3. There were significant statistical differences at the level of (α≤0.05) in the estimations mean of the research sample of the students affairs dean's role in developing the citizenship values of the students due to the education level (first, second, third, four) in the questionnaire as a whole in favor of the fourth level against the second level, and in the first domain (the community participation) in favor of the fourth level against the first, second and third level. _x000D_
• The research recommended the following: _x000D_
Activating the role of the students affairs dean in developing the citizenship values of the university students, in particular the democracy values and the community participation.
