ملخص الدراسة:

Objectives of the study: this study aims at identifying the level of self-management and emotional balance of the wives of martyrs of 2014 war on the Gaza Strip. It also aimed at identifying the differences in the mean scores of self-management and emotional balance in relation to the following variables: educational level, shelter, age, number of family members, nature of martyrdom, and the demolition of the house. Research methodology: The researcher used the descriptive approach for its suitability to the objectives and hypotheses of this research. Study sample: The study sample consisted of (288) wives of martyrs of 2014 war. Tools of the study: self-management scale, prepared by: Houidh Hanafi Mahmoud 2012. (Modified by the researcher), an emotional balance scale, prepared by: Adel Mohammed Mahmoud Aladl 1993 (Modified by the researcher). The most important findings of the study: Self-management level had a high score with relative weight of 72.4%, and the level of emotional balance had also a high score with relative weight of 78.2%. There is a positive relationship between self-management and emotional balance among the wives of the martyrs of 2014 war on Gaza. There are statistically significant differences in the mean scores of self-management and emotional balance among the wives of martyrs of the war of 2014 on Gaza attributed the educational level, age, number of family members, and demolition of the house. While, there are no differences in the mean scores of self-management and emotional balance among the wives of martyrs of the war of 2014 on Gaza attributed to work, shelter, and the nature of martyrdom. The most important recommendations of the study: 1- Providing job opportunities for the wives of martyrs that fit their educational levels and abilities. 2- Developing strategies that enhance the abilities of this class and contribute to its participation in the society, as well as developing plans that invest the free time of this class in self-productive activities.
