This study aims at identifying the follow-up of university students in the Gaza Strip governorates to the crime news in the Palestinian news websites, the patterns and topics of crimes that they prefer to follow in the Palestinian news sites, and their motivation to follow that kind of news. It is based on descriptive research that used the survey methodology and surveyed the media audience. The data of the study were collected through a codified survey paper which was distributed to 400 students from the three main universities in the Gaza Strip: the Islamic University, Al-Azhar University and Al-Aqsa University. The study concluded that (53.6%) of respondents followed the news with a medium degree. Maan News Agency ranked the first website to follow crime news through with an average of (%64.5) where respondents follow crime news. It also showed that 49.1% of respondents prefer to follow crimes against morality in the Palestinian news sites. _x000D__x000D_
The study showed that there is a relationship between the confidence of university students with the topics provided by the Palestinian news sites about crime and the extent to which they follow the crime news in the news sites.
