The researcher discusses some of the contemporary Jurisprudence issues that tackle washing martyrs and praying for them through defining the martyr, his/ her rank and the ruling of washing and praying for him/ her. The researcher also elaborates the discussion regarding the ruling of washing the martyr of the battle and praying for him/ her, such as defining the criterion of the martyr who is not washed nor prayed for him/ her, the martyr who was killed with his/ her own weapon or with other Muslim's weapon by mistake and the martyr who was killed while being in a state of major ritual impurity. Moreover, the researcher mentions the ruling of washing and praying for the martyr who is not killed at a battle such as the martyr who died without killing, the martyr who was killed wrongfully, killing of civilians, women and children, those who killed in road accidents and those who died while preparing for upcoming battles. Furthermore, the research shows the ruling of washing and prying for the martyr who was killed wrongfully. The researcher concludes that the martyr who is not washed nor pray for him/ her is the one who was killed at battle fields, the one who was killed wrongfully and the one who was killed by bandits.
