ملخص الدراسة:

The problem of the study is concentrated in the unclear role of the Palestinian media in the definition and awareness of the drug issue, the weak interest of Palestinian university youth in drug problems, and their lack of awareness of the seriousness of this issue, this study belongs to descriptive studies using the survey method, where it was distributed A questionnaire on a random sample of 150 university students at the main universities in the Gaza Strip at the beginning of January 2006._x000D__x000D_
The study found that the youth’s follow-up to Palestinian media regularly is weak, as broadcasts came at the forefront of the means they are following, then the Internet sites, and it was found that a third of the respondents do not follow up on drug issue, and those who followed it said that they benefited of this follow-up is a large percentage, and this benefits were knowing the dangers of drugs to health, followed by attention to the dangers of drugs to society and the family, and most of the respondents who follow drug issues said that the Palestinian media has an important role in educating university youth about drugs.
