ملخص الدراسة:

The study aimed to assess the direct role of the largest foreign associations in youth development in Gaza Strip. To conduct this study, the researchers used the analytical descriptive method, where they reviewed the previous literatures and studies, and also prepared a questionnaire to measure the developmental methodology in these associations. The questionnaire was distributed to the managers of the largest twenty associations with a recovery ratio of 75%, in addition to an interview aimed to get the expenditure proportion of these associations on youth development. The study found that "the direct role of the largest foreign associations in youth development in Gaza Strip in the year of 2010 was weak with ratio of 13.37% of their total activities in comparison of the proportion of youth in the community, which reached more than 25%"; where the developmental methodology is available by 73.94%, and they spent about 18.08% of their total projects on youth development in 2010. At the end, the study concluded several recommendations, the most important ones were; the Palestinian government in Gaza Strip needs to involve foreign associations in youth development plans to direct the fund towards the real needs without repetition, the foreign associations need to focus on technological projects because of their good nature that create open market for youth, they also need to focus on vocational training that meets the local market needs, and to support the agricultural projects that provide attractive employment opportunities for youth which would contribute to the localization of agricultural imports.
