ملخص الدراسة:

The purpose of this study is to investigate the psychological suffering of the wives of the martyrs of the war on Gaza in 2008-2009 in the light of some of the variables and the put in order the dimensions of psychological distress researcher selected a sample of the wives of the martyrs of 193 a girls about from the city of Gaza and applied questionnaire psychological suffering by the researcher. The researcher used a descriptive analytical method and also used statistical methods as diverse as: Test the Pearson and Spearman and Man-Whitney and Alpha Cronbach and (T) test and the researcher concluded the following findings: that the wives of the martyrs of the war in Gaza to have psychological distress is high despite the two years that war has proven to be Higher by the suffering of the emotional aspect then the physiological aspect cognitive side. The study found that there were statistically significant differences in the mental suffering of the wives of the martyrs is attributable to the economic situation and education and age of the wife while the wife was not clear and there are significant differences in psychological distress due to the number
