ملخص الدراسة:

This study aims to identify the pillars of the Palestinian press discourse towards the issue of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, the detection of the leading theses, the powerful forces contained therein, the frames of references, and the similarities and differences between the two newspapers of the study. _x000D_
As a descriptive study, the researchers use of research, the media discourse analysis approach, comparison methodology, analysis tools of theses, powerful forces, and frames of references. The study sample is two newspapers which are new life and Palestine._x000D_
The study has reached several results notably: the difference between the two newspapers in theses of prisoners. The New Life Newspaper focused on the captive leader Marwan Barghouti and his suffering, and deposition of the cartoonist Mohammad Spagna. While Palestine Newspaper focused on the arrest of deputies in the Palestinian legislative Council and the suffering of those prisoners with their families. These differences refer to the different ideologies between the two newspapers._x000D_
Moreover, the two newspapers vary in the qualities and roles of the powerful forces that emerged in the theses of prisoners . On the other hand, the two newspapers have an agreement in assigning their discourse the legal , humanitarian, popular and official frames. While the two newspapers have differences in two frames as exclusively the New Life Newspaper focuses on the political frame , and Palestine in the historical frame in their support for the prisoners issue.
