ملخص الدراسة:

This study titled "The Ta'aqubaat, comments, of Imam Ibn Abi Hatim Al-Razi and his father in the book of Al-Jarh, criticism, and Al-Ta'deel, praising, regarding those whom companionship was approved by Imam Al-Bukhari in the book of Al-Tareekh Al-Kabeer, the Grand History". The study begins with a summarized introduction about the concept of Ta'aqubaat, its emergence, importance, benefits, and the related terminology. It also presents the concept of companionship and how to prove companionship and reliability for a certain person. The applied study then tackled the Ta'aqubaat, comments, of Imam Ibn Abi Hatim Al-Razi and his father on Imam Al-Bukhari. This has been done with reference to those whom companionship with the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, was approved by Imam Al-Bukhari in his book "Al-Tareekh Al-Kabeer", and was denied in the book of "Al-Jarh and Al-Ta'deel". This has been carried out through tracing, gathering, analyzing, and comparing these Ta'aqubaat, comments, against the opinions of Hadith scholars. Then, they were judged according to these. It is worth mentioning that number of companions who were studied in this regard is eight. The study agreed with Imam Ibn Abi Hatim Al-Razi and his father in three cases.
