ملخص الدراسة:

Palestinian industry suffered a major crisis under siege and war. We did not find that globalization is the ideal solution that addresses the problems of the industry. It is a political crisis and will be solved through political means. The researcher collected primary data through a questionnaire for a sample of 140 factories, 45% of them believed that globalization had negative effects on industry in the Gaza Strip. in addition, 42% did not believe in any effect of globalization on their industry because they are producing for the domestic market as they said. 91% of respondents are not able to open up to the outside world before improving the local economy. The study recommends the need to educate the Palestinian producer to the concept of globalization and its economic effects and how to deal once if had been imposed. It is important to start a program of temporary protection to face effects of globalization gradually. The study recommends the search for appropriate economic integration based on sound bases away from just absolute dependency on the Israeli economy
