ملخص الدراسة:
This study aimed to identify the effect of using self-questioning_x000D__x000D_
strategy on developing literary appreciation skills and attitudes among tenth_x000D__x000D_
grade female students. The researcher applied the experimental approach by_x000D__x000D_
setting two groups and performing a pre application and a post application _x000D__x000D_
tests. The sample was chosen from the students of Kafr Qasem Secondary_x000D__x000D_
School for Girls. It consisted of 92 female students randomly divided in two_x000D__x000D_
groups (control and experimental) students . The study used alist of literary_x000D__x000D_
appreciation skills and atest of literary appreciation skills and an attitude_x000D__x000D_
scale towards literature. The study reached the following results : First,_x000D__x000D_
there are statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 between the_x000D__x000D_
mean scores of experimental group students and the mean scores of control_x000D__x000D_
group students in the post test of literary appreciation skills, in favor of_x000D__x000D_
experimental group. Second ,there are statistically significant differences at_x000D__x000D_
the level of 0.01 between the mean scores of experimental group students_x000D__x000D_
and the mean scores of control group students in the attitude scale towards_x000D__x000D_
literary appreciation, in favor of experimental group.
