ملخص الدراسة:

The study aimed to know the role of Palestinian universities in promoting women's rights. To reveal the presence of statistically significant differences between the averages of the sample’s estimate of the role of Palestinian universities in promoting women's rights due to study variables (gender, specialization, university). The two researchers used the descriptive analytical approach. To achieve the aims of the study, a questionnaire consisting of (31) items in the fields of (ownership and inheritance rights) was prepared, and the sample of the study consisted of (282) male and female students from the Islamic University and Al-Aqsa University in Gaza. (Among the most important results of the study:_x000D__x000D_
• Islamic law gives women the right to own property and property in kind. It also gives every person his right without discrimination between men and women. The woman's financial independence is independent, and she is free to dispose of her money. The prohibition of assaulting a woman’s financial right is permissible, and it is not permissible to take it without the kindness of it._x000D__x000D_
• The role of Palestinian universities in promoting women's rights from the viewpoint of their students obtained a relative weight ((68.42%), i.e. a moderate degree, distributed as follows: The right of inheritance gained the first rank with a relative weight ((70.29%), followed by the right to own property obtained a position The second with a relative weight (66.88%), that is, with a weak degree._x000D__x000D_
• There are statistically significant differences between the averages of the sample’s estimate of the role of Palestinian universities in promoting women's rights due to the gender variable in favor of males._x000D__x000D_
• There are statistically significant differences between the averages of the sample’s assessment of the role of Palestinian universities in promoting women's rights due to the variable of specialization in favor of Sharia colleges._x000D__x000D_
• There are statistically significant differences between the averages of the sample’s estimate of the role of Palestinian universities in promoting women's rights due to the university variable in favor of the Islamic University._x000D__x000D_
The study recommended the following:_x000D__x000D_
The necessity of educating society in general and women in particular about the rights of women in Islam through the media, mosques and all social media_x000D__x000D_
.2 The need to establish institutes and centers concerned with women's rights at the academic and societal levels to spread women's rights in accordance with Islamic law._x000D__x000D_
3. Working on trying to find a common inter-university course targeting human rights centrally_x000D__x000D_
The rights of women as a substitute for some negative customs and traditions that contradict our Islam.
