ملخص الدراسة:

هدفت الدراسة إلى تقييم تجربة استخدام تطبيق ليفوکس (Livox Arabia) الإلکتروني في تنمية مهارات التواصل لدى أطفال التوحد في بعض مراکز التوحد في المملکة العربية السعودية. وذلک من خلال استعراض إيجابيَّات ومعوقات استخدام هذا التطبيق من وجهة نظر المعلمات والأمهات. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم اتباع تصميم البحث النوعي الذي يستند على البيانات النوعية لوصف الظاهرة، ودراسة حالة مرکزين من مراکز التوحد في مدينة الرياض والتي فعلت استخدام تطبيق ليفوکس مع أطفال التوحد. ولجمع البيانات المناسبة تم استخدام أداة المقابلة مع المعلمات، واستخدام أداة مجموعات الترکيز مع الأمهات، وأجري تحليل البيانات النوعية الناتجة عن أدوات الدراسة بإتباع أسلوب التحليل الموضوعي (Thematic analysis). وأظهرت النتائج أن من أبرز إيجابيات استخدام تطبيق ليفوکس في تنمية مهارات التواصل لدى أطفال التوحد هو تمکِين الطفل من التواصل مع المحيطين به، وتنمية اللغة ومهارات النطق بشکل جزئي. کذلک تنمية مهارات الطلب والتعبير عن الحاجات، إضافةً إلى تميزه بالمتعة وجذب الانتباه، وکذلک سهولة ومرونة الاستخدام، ودعمه للغة العربية. أما أبرز المعوقات فقد تمثلت في التکلفة الماديَّة المرتفعة للتطبيق وعدم توفره على نظام IOS الخاص بأجهزة أبل. وفي ضوء النتائج السابقة قدم البحث عددًا من التوصيات والدراسات المستقبلية المقترحة التي قد تفيد الباحثين والمهتمين في هذا المجال.
The study aimed to evaluate the experience of using the Livox Arabia application in developing communication skills among autistic children in some autism centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through a review of the positives and obstacles to its use from the viewpoint of teachers and mothers. To achieve the objectives of the study, a qualitative research design was followed, specifically the case study. Two autism centers were selected in the city of Riyadh, which did use the Levox application with autistic children, and the study was administered to a sample of teachers and mothers of children in these centers. To collect the appropriate data, an interview and focus group tools were used, and thematic analysis was applied to the data. The results showed that one of the main advantages of using the Levox application in developing communication skills among autistic children is to enable the child to communicate with those around him, to develop language and pronunciation skills in part, and to develop the skills of demand and expressing needs, in addition to its distinction and enjoyment of attention, besides ease and flexibility of use, and support for the Arabic language. The main obstacles were the high cost of the application and its lack of availability on the IOS system for Apple devices. In light of the previous results, the research presented several recommendations and proposed future studies that may benefit researchers and those interested in this field.
