This The present study tackles the Meccan wells and their economic and social important. led the masters. of Mecca, among whom were Qusay and his sons and grandsons, take the responsibility of digging the wells to provide water for the pilgrims. Therefore, they dug several wells inside Mecca. In addition , performing such tasks would raise their rank among the Arab tribes.
