Children's satellite channels have becomethe most effective media on parents and children alike interms of the entertaining and educational programs andcartoons there channels broad cast. The parents even realized the seriousness of thisdevice that they began to use it as a means for reward andpunishment. The results of the field study also highlight thatseveral families in the city of Mosul readied that it is notpossible to ignore the effects of this great device. Theparents also need to keep a close eye on their children whilewatching TV and continuously direct them towardseducational programs that enhance the child intellectually.The parents also need to teach the child what he is allowedto watch and what is banned and explain the reasons behindthese decisions.
