In spite of importance of issuing of Investment Law no. 13 for the year 2006 , that organizes the local and foreign investment process in the Country , the process of attracting the foreign investment needs a lot of components that are directly connected to the suitable climate . These components are either connected with the economic factors or with the social factors in addition to the legal and political ones .Iraq is one of the countries that entered the competition to attract foreign investment , nevertheless , these countries stepped forward in that space , because Iraq needs to build national strategy to attract investments taking in to consideration all components and economic resources which available in it . Besides , it will benefit from these investments especially in increasing the competitive capacity of the goods and services at the centre of those investments
