ملخص الدراسة:

هدفت الدراسة تعرف مستوى الاستمتاع بالحياة لدى أفراد العينة. وقياس الفروق بين متوسطات درجات عينة الدراسة في مستوى الاستمتاع بالحياة تبعا لمتغير الجنس- العمر- سبب الإعاقة- مدة الإعاقة. واعتمدت الباحثة على المنهج الوصفي المقارن باعتبار أنها تبحث في مستوى الاستمتاع بالحياة لدى عينة من المعاقين حرکياً في دور الرعاية الاجتماعية ببريدة، والمقارنة بين أفراد العينة تبعاً للمتغيرات المحددة في تساؤلات وفرضيات الدراسة (الجنس- العمر- سبب الإعاقة- مدة الإعاقة)، فالمنهج الوصفي المقارن يتناسب مع أهداف الدراسة الحالية ويحقق الإجابة على تساؤلاتها. وتکونت عينة الدراسة من (50) معاقاً ومعاقة حرکياً (خلقياً ومکتسباً) في دور الرعاية الاجتماعية ببريدة. وفي ضوء النتائج توصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من التوصيات منها: يفضل التدخل المبکر من الوالدين والمسئولين في المجتمع للحد من آثار ضعف الاستمتاع بالحياة لدى المعاقين حرکيا. ضرورة تبادل أسرة المعاق للخبرات المختلفة فيما بينها تساعد في إضفاء التشجيع لتحمل أعباء الحياة اليومية وتشکيل صداقات مع أسر في أوضاع مشابه وزيادة الاستمتاع بالحياة للمعاقين. ضرورة إنشاء مرکز خاص لتوعية اسر المعاقين والمعاقات حرکيا وذلک بإقامة دورات لهم والتواصل الدوري معهم لتدريبهم على التعامل السليم مع المعاقين بالطريقة التي لا تشعرهم بالإعاقة، لتشعرهم بالاعتزاز والتقدير.
The present study aimed to identify the level of enjoying life among the study sample members and assessing the differences between the mean scores of the study sample in the level of enjoyment of life in the light of the variables of sex - age - reason of disability - duration of disability. The researcher made use of the descriptive comparative method as it examines the level of enjoyment of life among a sample of the physically disabled in the social care homes in Buraidah. The researcher also drew a comparison between the sample members according to the variables identified in the questions and the hypotheses of the study (gender - age - the cause of the disability - the duration of disability). The present research made use of the comparative descriptive method as it fits the objectives of the current study and achieves the answer of the study questions. The study sample consisted of (50) disabled (inherited and acquired) in social care homes in Buraidah. In light of the results attained, the study recommended early intervention via parents and officials in society to increase the enjoyment of life among the physically disabled. The need for the family of the disabled to exchange different experiences with each other to give encouragement to bear the burdens of the daily life, form friendships with families in similar situations, and increase the enjoyment of life among the disabled. The study also recommended the necessity of establishing special centers to educate the families of the disabled by setting up courses and regular contact to train them to properly deal with the disabled in a way that does not make them feel disabled, so that they feel proud and appreciated.
