ملخص الدراسة:
Study Aim: The study aimed to identify the degree of Gaza UNRWA school principals’ practice of value management and its relationship to participatory decision making from the teachers’ viewpoints in the light of the variables of gender, educational qualification and years of service. Study Methodology: The researcher used the analytical-descriptive approach. Study tools: The researcher used two questionnaires: the first intended to measure the degree of Gaza governorates’ UNRWA school principals’ practice of value management and this consists five fields , and the second: was intended to measure the degree of head teachers` participation in decision-making and this consists four fields . Study sample: The sample of the study consisted of (400) male and female teachers. Study most important findings were as follows: The degree of UNRWA school principals’ practice of value management was relatively high with a percentage weight of (75.40), and the degree of teachers’ participation in decision-making was also relatively high with a percentage weight of (71.80). There were no statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of the estimation of the study sample of value management and their participation in decision-making due to the variable of educational qualification, while there were differences attributed to the variables of gender in relation to males and years of service in relation to those who serve 10 years and more . There was a positive correlation at (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of the estimation of the study sample of value management and participation in participatory decision-making. Study most important recommendations were as follows: 1. Promoting the concept of value management as a modern administrative trend among school principals by holding the required training courses supervised by the concerned bodies. 2. Broadening the base of teachers' participation in administrative decision making, especially with regard to the construction of the school plan, professional development and the relationship with the local community.
