ملخص الدراسة:

Aim of the Study: This study aims to investigate the effect of using the realistic learning form to modify the alternative conceptions of scientific concepts with the female students of the fifth grade and their tendencies towards science. Study Approach: The researcher uses the descriptive and quasi-experimental approach. Study Sample: The sample was (66) female fifth grade students from Al-Farabi Joint school Study Tools: The research used a test to identify the alternative conceptions of scientific concepts and their tendencies towards science. Results: - There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05≥ α) between the average level of the experimental group students and the control group in testing the posttest alternative conceptions of the experimental group. - There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05≥ α) between the average level of the experimental group students and the control group in the scale of their tendencies towards science for the experimental group. Recommendations: - To add the realistic learning form to the teaching methods courses at universities and to work in training the students (to-be-teachers) on how to use them. - To pay attention to training the teachers on how to detect the alternative conceptions and how to modify them.
