ملخص الدراسة:

This study aims to identify the role of the Islamic University of Gaza in promoting the mental image of Palestinian women from the perspective of its employees. It also aims to detect the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean of respondents estimate of the Islamic University of Gaza in promoting the mental image of Palestinian women due to the study variables (gender, educational qualification, organizational affiliation, university of the first-level degree). _x000D__x000D_
The researchers used the descriptive analytical method. The study sample consisted of all the employees in the university (administrative and academic). _x000D__x000D_
The questionnaire was the main tool of the study. It was designed by the researchers and the sincerity and persistence of the questionnaire were confirmed. The questionnaire included 55 items that were distributed on 5 areas. _x000D__x000D_
The study found that the role of the university in promoting the mental image of Palestinian women has a relative weight of (77.80%) arranged in a descending order as follows, education hub (80.22%), leadership and empowerment hub (80.21%), social hub (78.12%), legal hub (78.12%), and political hub (71.75%). _x000D__x000D_
In light of the results of the study, it is recommended that the academic curricula include clear concepts about the status of woman and her national role in the society. It is also recommended to provide positive female role models in the scientific, social and political spheres.
