ملخص الدراسة:

The study aims to have an idea about the programs of the Palestinian universities in the integration of students with disabilities studying at universities, as well as access to the application circuits of student activities for the integration process, and what obstacles and difficulties facing the integration process through the present case study._x000D_
And specifically the crystallization of the study problem in the following questions:_x000D_
The first question: What is the mechanism used in the integration of students with special needs - disability -?_x000D_
The second question: What is the mechanism for building support and enrichment programs for students with disabilities?_x000D_
The study followed a case study approach and the methodology of content analysis based on official documents and official papers issued by the _x000D_
Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Palestinian universities._x000D_
The study based on the direct interview and intended observation in by reference to the records, reports, documents and books issued by the Ministry of Education, Palestinian and Palestinian universities._x000D_
The study's population included An- Najah National University to choose a student's case who are visually impaired and study the extent of his participation in the activities and events offered by the university departments of student activities._x000D_
The study came to the set of results including:_x000D_
1- The right to basic education for every citizen living on the land of Palestine, regardless of gender, religion, sect or denomination, race or type of disability, and the university is open to all students does not exclude any of them, especially students who meet the admission requirements and registration advertised like the rest of the students._x000D_
2-The university has worked to provide the necessary technical requirements to serve students with special needs, especially those with visual disabilities, by equipping the computer center for the visually impaired - printing books using Braille and providing Internet Technology._x000D_
3- Coordination with local community organizations and programs working to help provide services for students by providing equipment and support materials. However, An-Najah University ,its departments and its centers make daily relations and daily interaction with various institutions in Nablus and various provinces._x000D_
4 - The program of psycho-social support and the formation of the academic and social support committee for the development of the students which is considered a pioneering and exemplary experience at the universities that have been applied through the center of the community service. (This program works in the university through the Guidance Office at the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Office of care and department heads of academics and the Supreme guidance committee at the university)._x000D_
5-The academic program oriented to the student through the training of the teaching staff who need more training and hold workshops for all employees in spite of efforts at An-Najah National University through the Supreme Guidance Committee, counselors in the colleges and the university administrative staff and academics._x000D_
Recommendations and suggestions_x000D_
1-General Recommendations:_x000D_
1 - To strengthen the relationship with the institutions of the local community and take advantage of its role in the process of integration and rehabilitation of the old university building, commensurate with the requirements of the integration._x000D_
2 - Focus on active learning and peer learning and collaborative learning and working in groups._x000D_
3 - The adoption of the method of observation and viewing and the diversify of the teaching methods through the interaction between students with disabilities and their peers without disabilities._x000D_
3 - Use of enrichment programs and psycho-social support for students with special needs and mainstream the experience of forming a committee of support and assistance to all departments, institutions and programs working with people with special needs in the community._x000D_
4 - Intensification of workshops and training to detect disability indicators and adjustments for all employees at the university._x000D_
B – A proposed future Research and studies :_x000D_
1 - An analytical study of the data and facts of the reality by the method of systems analysis inputs - processes - outputs._x000D_
2 - Conducting comparative studies with the experiences of integration in the Arab and foreign countries._x000D_
3 - Conducting studies to develop future scenarios for the future university, which includes all students, including those with special needs.
