This study aimed to examine the role of impact means of communication used by the student council at the Islamic University to enhance personal leadership has reached the size of the sample (232) students and all members of the student council at the Islamic University, The results showed that more means of communication impact and use of the Student Council is Facebook and TV and radio maximum, and the study showed that the means of communication used by the Student Council contribute to the achievement of citizenship, it turns out that there are no statistically significant differences in the responses sample towards the impact of the means of communication used by the student council at the Islamic University to enhance personal leadership due to the variable sex , it turns out that it must develop programs to develop leadership skills for students to parallel their academic users and modern means of communication. And the concentration of the means of communication on the components of citizenship, construction and positive values. And encourage initiatives and communications and media to support the spirit of citizenship and the values of tolerance and equal opportunity and give a good example and activating the role of student councils through the means of communication in effective political participation. And encourage creativity and innovation and expansion in the use of means of communication and use of technology through the development of curricula and teaching methods and activating the Centers of Excellence under the auspices of the means of communication, and recommended study the work of in-depth studies in this area of the importance of the role of youth in change and leadership.
