ملخص الدراسة:

The purpose of this study was to detect the level of awareness of Palestinian university students to the concept of work Volunteering and its impact on the development of their personality. Researchers have used the descriptive analytical method for relevance the subject of the study. The tools of the study consisted of identifying multiple axes and research sample included (400) students from the Islamic University and Al-Quds Open University, have been using plants Pearson correlation, Cronbach alpha, and Mann Whitney and Spearman .Results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences attributable to sex worker or level School or even the kind of education in terms of turnout and interest in volunteer work, and that there are obstacles Large preclude the participation of young people volunteering. The results proved that the young university already Practiced voluntary work and wish to participate in all types and fields. The recommended researchers has needed to promote volunteerism among young people in various ways, the creation of the Union or of a special forum Volunteers interested in their cases and the practice of the media for its pioneering role in promoting volunteerism. Adding to hold regular meetings with youth organizations and provide successful models and outstanding.
