ملخص الدراسة:
This research aimed at investigating the nature of the educational settings in Palestine, and the role of quantitive research methods in diagnosing and analyzing this nature, And then identifying the nature of the ethnographic method including its philosophy, problems of its application at the educational field and also identifying its role in developing the educational setting_x000D_
Quantitive descriptive method and ethnographic method had been used for collecting data about the educational setting including its classification, analysis and joining its signs in order to reach at interpretation and conclusions for it that contribute in improving and developing the educational setting._x000D_
This study also concluded that the use of research method on the Arabian and Palestinian level was described as quantitive, and the all of educational results related to educational problem that our communities suffer from. Related to recommendations that came from quantitive and statistical treatments which were used in incorrect way, and thus the educationl setting was unsatisfied and educationally unacceptable, and did not suit the Arabian and Palestinian ambitions._x000D_
Accordingly, the current educational reforms and new curricular that comes simultaneously with complex political situations on the Arabian level in general and the Palestinian level in particular, the need to conduct real researches that depend on ethnographic method is one of the most important priorities, considering small details which have many important details to contribute in analyzing and developing the educational setting._x000D_
This study recommended that Palestinian colleges and universities have to conduct training courses for post-graduate students and teaching staff in order to acquire the skills of conducting qualitive researches in the educational field.
