ملخص الدراسة:

Abstract This study compares between the two books Almoqadima Almohasaba and Alfiat Alathari. This is an objective study that deals fair with both authors and makes comparisons so as to show the efforts of Alathari in the field of grammar. This study is divided into three chapters and an introduction. The introduction illustrates the biographies of both authors Bin Babshath and Alathari. The first chapter copares in fundamentals of writings between Bin Babshath and Alathari. This chapter consists of four sections; the first section is the approach of Bin Babshath, the second section: evidence and examples, the third section is about the fundamentals of grammar, and the fourth section: terminology. The second chapter explains contrasts added by Bin Babshath. The chapter included four sections, the first section: the legacy Bin Babshath, the second section: What has not been specified by Bin Babshath, the third section: what he was not aware of, and the fourth Section: what he didn’t classify. The third chapter explains the grammar contrast between Bin Babshath and Alathari. It consisted of three sections, the first section: their objections to the grammarians, the second section: Alathari’s objections to Bin Babshath, and the third section the grammatical approach. The conclusion makes association between chapters and highlights the results briefly depending on the comparative approach.
