ملخص الدراسة:

This research treats two main stages for Damascus city in resisting the French colonolization: First stage: Starts with military occupation to Syria in 1920 until 1930 in the twentieth century. This stage was distinguished by different kinds of resistance like demonstrations and military actions against occupation. Second stage: That was characteirized with calmness relatively as political work started against French colonolizationh until Syrian independence and with drawal of French forces, despite resistance in different places like Damascus and other cities. The research raised an important point that resisting the French colonolization from the first day affected resistance positively and Damascus city played a main role besides political side in struggle that affected resistance in different points and places in Syria.
