ملخص الدراسة:

This research aims at studying the Nominal Sentence, both simple and compound, and its types in the Palestinian detainees' Poetry, besides some common structural features of that era such as omission, preceding, and repetition, succeeding in language in an indicative structural study._x000D_
It means that the research on the grammatical structure of the sentence is the first priority to each grammatical system, thus it works on finding out about its synthesis trying to combine the articulated phonic picture and the required meaning through the mental system which controls it, revealing the correlation between the meaning and the construction and the semantics with the whole Arabic language grammar taking into consideration what the latter has provided of rules._x000D_
When describing the construction of the Nominal Sentence in the poetry of the Palestinian detainees, the researcher will get familiar with some of the characteristics such as synthesis, composing and sequence which contribute to the emergence of the indication. _x000D_
The research has come to many salient conclusions such as the variety of using the nominal sentences, long or short every now and then. The poets intensified the use of the short sentence to indicate the depth of the feelings, the stability in the spirit and to emphasize its believability._x000D_
The poets used nominal sentence with a very expansive long predicative, includes kinds of language accessories' to reflect the high mood that the Palestinian captives have reached due to the plenty of pain and suffering, and their resolution to confront and steadfast, and carrying on their stead fasting to realize their dream of decent dignity.
